theres no way they should drop sym over flor, i like flor and all but we gotta be real here. sym is way better long term player than flor can ever be. Can flor make tier 1 ofc she can thats why she wants to leave gc. but her getting cleared by t3 challengers earlier this year doesn't show any promise of her getting a chance. If she does end up getting a chance in tier 2 she needs to perform like crazy to get the tier 1 orgs attention. imo flor loses to every duelist in americas cus of her fundamentals and mentality so tier 1 should not happen for her

they should get Okeanos

1. stop softcore baiting a team's skill does not = a player's skill
2. where are these rumors coming from i haven't seen any credible resource say that flor is going to eg
3. if she did then thank god because her mechanics clear sym's, with potter she could easily become one of the best with her learning T1 discipline (look at what she did with demon1, a clearly skilled aimer who didn't have the structure around him to go crazy or the discipline yet)

what about tier 2

while i do agree with this. I think the main problem right now is that flor has had better results than sym. While I do agree that flor was in gc, sym was not performing well in the sen invitational. I think he went positive for 2 games? However when sym is firing on all cylinders, he's an absolute beast. I think sym should have more chance to prove himself on eg before a desicion is made

the eg rumors are not founded on anything real, eg do extensive trials to see which players they like. When potten returns they'll trial duelists and pick the one that they believe in the most. if its flor then cool for them

sym was always a temporary pickup bro never even removed TSM from his profile while at the event. maybe if it went well they would have kept him but clearly it didn't and likely there could have been other issues we didnt see like comms and general team chemistry etc

personally i would have preferred someone like icy given that he actually improved a lot last year and it was his debut rookie year and he really didn't do as badly as some ppl think + tier 1 experience he is surely a player trending up with the right system

tho tbh at this point potter has earned the trust/confidence of anyone who is interested in EG's roster so if she does decide to sign flor or icy or sym or whoever i'm pretty sure she thought it through a lot. people are over-glazing flor for owning GC the logical next step would be for her to try challengers or something rather than skipping over tier 2 and jumping right into tier 1 but if potter backs it honestly i'd wager it'll work well given her history of scouting and developing talent
