Literally rotting in C9 wasted talent get him out of Xeppaa
gambusia1302 [#3]If 100t doesn't win a thing next year maybe they end up signing him, Asuna and Cryo had too many chances to accomplish anything (no hate)
brother just extended till 2027 ain't nobody buying him out
jawn [#4]brother just extended till 2027 ain't nobody buying him out
oh I forgot that well he is jailed in c9 forever
He knows he isn't accomplishing anything on C9 but he's getting paid a bag and the job security is too good to pass up. He's in an ideal spot bc he knows since he's the very last one to get dropped from C9 and his teammates are trash, he can just chill and carry regular season games stress free and not even have to travel anywhere internationally bc C9 aren't qualifying for anything. So he's playing the least amount of games with very little pressure and securing his future. Kind of like what Damian Lillard was doing on the Trail Blazers before he went the Bucks. I respect it.
In the year 2080, Oxy is still playing for Cloud9, and they’re STILL chasing that elusive championship.
“BREAKING NEWS: Cloud9 Signs Oxy Until 2090!” The esports world is shocked. Comments flood in—“Oxy’s gonna be playing for C9 till the heat death of the universe at this rate,” one fan jokes. Another replies, “If we haven’t gotten a championship by now, is it even possible?”
The finals come around again, and Cloud9 fans are clinging to hope. “Maybe THIS is the year,” they mutter, ignoring the fact that they’ve said this every year since 2024. Oxy, now in his 80s but somehow still as sharp as ever, pulls off one of the best plays of his career. The fans can hardly contain themselves.
But just before the final round, Riot Games interrupts the broadcast with an announcement. In a sad, monotone voice, they declare: “Today, we’re officially retiring Valorant after 60 years of service. Thank you to our players.”
Stunned silence. Cloud9 looks around, realizing that this was it. After all these years, they were one game away, and Valorant itself shut down.
The commentators finally break the silence: “Well, folks… it seems Cloud9’s championship run has ended... because the game itself did.”
And in the chat, a fan comments: “Classic C9.”
