This fucking idiot today was biking in the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD despite there being a sidewalk and would not move out of the way despite knowing there were multiple cars behind him. At that point I should be allowed to run him over

Don't think so. I use the sidewalk whenever I bike and there seems to be no issues. Could be a state law thing maybe?

well at least where i live they have to be on the side of the road rather than the sidewalk

Well that doesn't change the fact that he was in the middle of the road and not off to the side like a normal person with a brain

At that point I should be allowed to run him over

"I should be allowed to seriously injure or murder someone because they are inconveniencing me"

Also, bikes are not supposed to be on the sidewalk. This is why bike lanes are needed, to protect biker from sociopaths like you.

I don't live in a big city where bike lanes are needed and this guy was in the middle of the road. I'd be fine if he was on the side of the road but this guy was straight up in the middle of the road in my neighborhood

In your neighborhood... like... a residential street? Where children sometimes play in?

At least in the US, cyclists and motorcyclists have the same rights as a car on most roads (basically any road that isn't a highway, since bicycles are banned on highways). In residential roads it's especially so because you can have kids biking. On my end, I live in a place where a) bikes are banned on sidewalks (was given a warning by a cop once... they somehow actually cared about that), and b) there's a lot of street parking, so biking "on the side" is literally impossible -- not to mention dangerous since I once got hit while biking by someone opening their door without checking their mirror (no injuries thankfully).

Rather than road raging at someone cycling on a street, either a) leave earlier so you're not in such a hurry, or b) just wait the little amount of time it takes to find an opening to safely pass them lol. It's not that deep. Whatever time you lost being stuck behind that cyclist is literally nothing. And don't get me wrong -- I get angry very easily when I'm driving too, but at the end of the day you probably lost like 2 minutes at most.

Unless by "middle of the road," you're referring to that person lane-splitting. Then that's actually just stupid.

still can't really be excused and its not a very nice thing to use "rant" as an excuse to say you wanna kill or gravely injure someone.

bro if i say my life is so fucked up i want to kill myself ..... that's doesn't mean i want to kms ..... it's like that you can say that to reduce your anger unless you really want to fucking kill someone then that's bad ..... that's why people rant to others or self to calm down

"kms" and "run him over" are two different things. one is about themselves in an unfortunate situation which will affect themselves only, whereas "allowed to run him over" is literally ranting that you want to kill or injure someone and playing the "ah sorry it was just a rant" don't mean you can say wtv you want. Even the OP said that it was probably too much. you weird asf.

I am sorry if my ideology came out wrong .... i just think if you angry and you want to rant you can say whatever u want until and unless you are not saying it directly in front of someone's face or you really have an intention to do what you ranted about ....... people rant to calm themselves and it's only good if you maintaining the two conditions i stated .... again it's just my ideology if it offended you or anyone else my bad bro

Honestly not the worst thing I've heard people say about bikers, granted I live in regional Australia so a bikes not exactly getting you far. But also, middle of the road is a pretty dumbass move especially if multiple cars are banked up behind them. Like people will try and pass and being in the middle of the road drastically increases the risk to the bloke on the bike and the drivers.

Imo a lot more people on peddle bikes need to approach the road with the motor bike mindset of "everything here can and will try to kill me any second" instead of assuming in all instances that right of way favours them.

Lol in India Bikers are everywhere on-road, off-road, side road, middle of the road , and people don't even care about it .... if there's any hurry they just ask them very politely ,"get the fuck out of the middle of the road you motherfucker" and they reply " who are you calling motherfucker, you sister fucker" while moving out of the way and letting the others pass
Easy as that just cuss , they will cuss back and they will let you go

Honestly that's not too far off the approach we use in regional Aus.

I feel like swearing at each other should just be the international standard, simple effective, gets the point across.

In the same notion, a good hit of the horn goes well with a bit of swearing. Paid for the horn, gotta get your money's worth

Mate in Australia we have groups of like 5 or 6 riding across the full lane even though it’s illegal and you have to try not to hit them as you go round corners
