NEW FOKUS ROSTER

the new roster is:

• Al0rante (sentinel)
• YaboiLewis (flex and igl)
• Xuss (duelist)
• Hoody (Initiator and Flex)
• Mistic (smokes)

imo Fokus shouldve went with something like:
Lewis
Al0rante
Vince
Sayonara
Wackie or Cullumx

i mean im a hard fokus fan but if they wont make Ascension i dont believe that they will continue in Valorant (bcs T2 is trash)
idk what to say, idk if i should be happy or sad

edit: dont get me wrong the roster is still very good but it needs to be top3 or best T2 emea good so lets see, also Apeks in Ascension again will be hard

mistic was really good in tier 2 and hoody was an ok tier 1 player so he should do well in tier 2

Fokus is the richest org (not just in Valorant but in general richest esport org) in germany and they have players like Al0rante and Lewis who are very well known and respectet in the community so it shouldnt be a problem to get him

when the player im most worried about on that roster is Xuss, then you know its stacked

Good tier 2 roster and going to be nice to see them in RedBull qualifier. Not a pushover team by any means.

exactly but i am more worried abt Mistic, if i would base this on his Polaris performance i wouldnt say anything but in VCT he didnt looked very convincing to me but maybe he was just victim of the system and igling problems

ye I get what youre saying
my take on mistic is less about IGL'ing and more about freedom and confidence (which I think he'll have in t2)

watching mistic in polaris he was one of the most creative omen players in the world; just having fun with his abilities and outplaying people

we never really saw this creativity past the first couple weeks during his time with liquid and I feel like thats where they went wrong
(we dont really know if its confidence, or the system not allowing for it, so I dont wanna point fingers)
If you take away his omen mastery during the omen meta, then youre just left with a meh player (... the story of 2023 liquid as a whole tbh)

tldr: think he should get what made him great in polaris back, now that hes in t2 again
