Saw the other thread and here’s my take on why:

was one of the best UT players ever, an arena shooter that’s much more mechanically demanding than Valorant and CS
Started grinding Valorant in 2022
found a tier 3 team in like a month to play for
got picked up by a tier 1 org after playing like 7 months in tier 3 (was good enough to skip an already developed tier 2 entirely)
placed 3rd in Americas 2nd in Masters Tokyo 1st in Champs LA in 5 months on what used to be a bottom feeding team
became recognized as the undisputed best player itw in the biggest tournament, a year and a half after he started playing competitive Val

but just from a TALENT perspective, zekken is good at valorant, demon1 is good at aiming.

He's not as one dimensional as yay, he can flex smokes,
