How does Riot even let C9 get away being a franchised team? They legit made RIot change the rules about roster lock due to the Yay situation. They have 0 Fans, never made an international since franchising, hold poverty rosters, let xeppa stay in Tier 1 for 5 years. Atleast eg won champs and dont make constant shuffling of their roster mid-season

  1. ) Pretty sure all teams could change rosters after lock//in

2.) C9 have a shit ton of fans idk where you got that from

3.) most teams havent made a LAN either and c9 this and last year was pretty close

4.) still invests in the ecosystem and has made working rosters

5.) xeppa isnt that bad

Yes but no one in their right mind drops their best player after just two matches in lock-in. they basically dropped him from the best player of 2022 to a tier 2 player. they lied to the fans (i was one of them) saying roster issues but it was due to money.

They did have a roster issue, though. The issue was that it cost too much money

at least c9 still wins stuff with their budget roster. same with EG's cheap lineups. mibr and furia are just shitting the bed !

A team doesnt have a roster issue after just 1 loss. It was clearly about the money but they were too chicken to say it. If they cant manage their money properly they shouldnt be in league, that's my point. they ruined careers and riot should remove them

what happened was c9 paid a massive budget expecting good results got knocked out lock//in early, prob had issues in scrims and realised that the results they got werent gonna be worth the money they spent

Ur quite braindead aren't u? He was the worst player look at all he's done since, failed in TIER 2 for crying out loud, even exploding that team by paying $10k to kick a player. Travels across the world in a overall weaker region and is so bad his team doesn't get a single win until he is dropped. Yay was always such an overrated player it's delusional fans like u who thought he was good that stay hardstuck.

Also btw after they dropped him C9 proceeded to beat every other team except loud that split, had the had yay they probably don't even make it to playoffs high key

im not defending Yay, im just saying C9 screwed over his career after just one loss when he at his peak not now obviously. Not just yay, c9 make constant roster moves in season like the joke (-runi,+runi,-vanity,+vanity)

saikinumber2 is number 2 because thats the number of seconds they decided to take to try and fail to understand any sort of esports economics
