I keep hearing people say CS2 movement is faster than Valorant is this really true? I tried finding videos comparing the two but all i find is people on reddit just saying it is. Based on my own calculations i found the Valorant has faster movement. Since Speed = Distance / Time. Valorant knife movement is already given in the game being 6.75 m/s while CS says the knife speed is 250 hammer units/second while each hammer unit converted to meters according to a developer is 0.01905 meters meaning the speed in CS is 4.7625 m/s. I wonder if people just feel that CS is faster bc of shittier servers making peekers advantage more impactful or if most players play 4:3 making the game feel faster.

1 metre in CS ≠ 1 metre in Valorant

movement in CS is faster (as someone who's played both)

So a standardized measurement isnt equal? Ive played both games as well

Standardized irl but not within independent systems (in this case, Val and CS)

Okay so what is the right way to compare the speed in both games? I have yet to find hard evidence that CS is faster than Val. Everyone just says it feels faster. Ive also played a lot of Apex legends and every character in that game moves at the same rate but everyone thought gibby moved slower than everyone else bc he was fat and pumped his arms more slowly. Are we sure that we aren't experiencing a similar experience
