T2 needs 10x the investment that riot gives gc.

i think its simply more entertaining to watch 5 shitty ascendant 3's run it down, and flor smurfing vs having trickaim try to role-play FNS and playing haram valorant in tier 2

also tier 2 is a complex thing riot just needs to monetize it better, if orgs can make 30k a year just from riot they'd be able to do more with rosters

if riot sells a M80 spray for 3 dollars takes half a dollar org gets 2 and a half dollars, and you sell 5000 orgs are taking home 12500

in august it was reported they earned like 30+ million from bundles in 2024, and its october now and I don't think that includes EDG which is the best selling bundle, so if tier 2 orgs can start hitting like 10-100k USD from riot in-game merch it would be nice

plus playing more often, and if riot was hosting more tournaments in the US you could have 9 that go off every month or two for tier 3( west north, west central, west south, central north, central south, etc etc)

true i dont find NA tier 2 entertaining but most of the world is pretty solid

italian league is fire for example, NA just tries too hard to be good just run it down like LATAM and BR

me personally i really enjoy EU t2, the only reason NA is not enjoyable is because of the terrible casters ngl, that one girl on the NA streams is unbearable and offers literally nothing to the match
