realistically this will only happen in ranked,, neon and iso wouldn't go together in VCT

That was just 1 example. Double duelist can work with certain comps on certain maps.

Yeah, although thinking about it if it was me I would give N4rrate the Jett and zekken the raze neon

Idk I prefer when teams keep players locked on certain roles.

In my flawed and biased ascendant POV, having a player flex duelist on some maps then flex initiator on some maps results in overall wasted pracc time.

I imagine it goes something like this:

-Duelist 1 has tendencies that need to be corrected on Map1, Map2, and Map3
-Duelist 2 has tendencies that need to be corrected on Map4, Map5, Map6

-Rest of team at the start has synergy issues playing off of Duelist1 on Map1,Map2,Map3 since they're new additions to the roster.
-Rest of the team at the start has synergy issues playing off of Duelist2 on Map4, Map5, Map6.

-Duelist1 disagrees with coach about something he does being bad, they clash about it throughout a week of pracc until either the coach sees Duelist1's vision and changes his mind, or Duelist1 realizes that the coach was right and makes a correction to his playstyle. Improves the team's performance on all 3 maps that he plays duelist for.

-Duelist2 might have the same original tendency as Duelist1 on Maps 4, 5, and 6, but what if he disagrees? Now they have to spend another week convincing him that their system is a better way to go about things. Or maybe Duelist2 actually ends up convincing the coach that his original correction was wrong and now he has to change gears with Duelist1 again, and keep the entire team updated on what they ultimately decide is the best course of action.

-Now repeat this whole process for their respective initiator roles

It's a principle of economics that specialization is ultimately better for both parties in an exchange anyways, even if one party is better at both roles than the other

I see what you mean but I don't really think it works like that on a pro team. Like I don't think Kaplan has to discuss tendencies with zekken, or at least not anymore. And even if they did they have plenty of time to figure that out in the off season. I think whatever those issues are it's work if that means you get a better Jett in N4rrate and a better Sova in zekken
