Depending on how the finals go (if Gambit is able to easily defeat Envy), then you could argue that VS were the 2nd best team, but that doesn't mean a Gambit vs Envy match won't be incredible to watch either

it's all older people who grew up with the game who are left caring about csgo

csgo will inevitably be forgotten because of Valorant

that's why they care so much about Valorant viewership

the circuit is so badly designed tbh like soooo many games are 'irrelevant' since everything is supposed to be for champs
like why are sen even playing stage 3 since they qualled by winning iceland, or why do futbolist have a spot in eu lcq when all they did was win masters 1 in like march with only turkish teams

Or like why does GMB vs NV game decide if Fnatic will go to Champs or will they have to play LCQ, why should Fnatic even have a chance for direct ticket when they even failed to qual for EMEA

i mean with the system i think i could make sense that they can direct qual since 2nd at iceland is pretty huge, but i agree it really shouldn't be based on what other teams do

While it is technically a seeding match, neither team is treating it like a seeding match.

It's almost like calling an IEM tournament or a ESL pro league final a seeding match because they add up to points to qualify for the Blast final.
