With Seangares becoming the new manager for all Shopify tac eSports teams, I do believe it actually increases the chances of seeing flor in tier 2 because I know one thing, that man loves Flor. I have seen him glaze her like a LOT whether it be because she is in his org or not.
So even if she doesn't get it, 100% getting trials you can write that down.

Closest I can think, for Valorant at least, was when Potter played on the main roster for EG before switching to coaching. This was pre-franchising.

it just makes more sense for them to go into GC cos that was set up for everyone else to have a chance. the T2 scene is not consistent. ideally just mixed teams would be better to stop separating them but in terms of money GC would get them more places and actually get paid. GC champs prize pool was 500k, T2 is still split per region so makes sense to stay in the GC league but it was around 100k per region obvs you can only play 1 region but then atleast you get into VCT.

With Seangares becoming the new manager, that literally changes nothing. He's not the coach. The coach decides who to trial and pickup.

The coach is not the only factor to who gets picked up or not.

General Manager meaning he gets to select who they want to trial alongside whoever Sean chooses to be HC, doesn't mean the HC gets full power in who they pickup in their final roster they would have 50/50 say
