not true we don't have great players but there are multiple players in T1 who are simply middle of the pack and we have many players who are same and can do that much. We have always had 1 or 2 standout talents in game like Rawfiul in 2022 was destroying ranked/pro lobbies , then Paradox took over for few months and then we had Hoax being ultra consistent in 2023 for half a year and recently Techno is on an upward trajectory. The problem is we have never had even 5 players together playing at a high level so we can achieve something at global stage and by the time a new talent rises the older one has lost motivation to grind as he realised there is nothing more to achieve alone so lets just take big salary and play as a job
i honesetly don't mind
with GE's academy roster being able to scrim against the main roster, its fine if they have players from different regions for a couple years while they build up the indian talent
but in 2 years if there aren't at least 2 indian players on GE's main roster, its a complete and utter fail

If you think any current Indian players can match Tier 1, then you are delusional. You guys hyped SkRossi so much and now look where he is. That guy LF must thank his stars he even got to play in Tier 1. There is so much talent in other countries who won't even get a sniff of pro-competition because the competition is too much. Hyping up any random Indian just because he got Radiant is not going to help your case. You will get better players in the Frankfurt server even in the Ascendant lobby.
It is going to take you guys 20 or maybe even 30-40 years to produce good talent. And even that it is no guarantee that they will be able to compete with other regions.

There is nobody on that level at the moment but idk how people don't get a simple point that ability of a player is not static but dynamic. People do peak and fall and at their peak there have been Indians who could hv settled in T1 easily.
A good example is Persia who is highest rated player rn in ascension but 2 years back he was struggling to even go positive for 1 map in south Asia(Indian,) T2 and got dropped in few months
