Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if half of these players aren’t in T1 next year. A majority of them are definitely going to T2 or streaming. U gotta remember that T2 had an amazing year this year so a ton of players r getting moved up, and that these players also likely have huge buyouts.

Really sad to see a player go, even if they are worse compared to everyone else (not saying everyone here is), but it’s probably going to happen

That’s cuz a lot the of players are getting moved up or getting more expensive , and a lot of Orgs are looking like they’re stepping out of T2 because of how much competition there is and how little money there is.
Admittedly, I haven’t watched much of other regions’ T2 outside of ascension except NA, which I’ve heard has had a better year than other regions, but I’ve heard turkey had a great year in emea and apac ascension has been looking good, but I understand what you mean.

I still believe that half these players won’t be in T1 next year, just because of how much money streaming makes, how expensive their buyouts are, etc
Don’t get me wrong I would love to be proven wrong but I don’t think that’s going to happen unfortunately

Edit: by the success in T2 I’m measuring by how many T1 worthy players it looked like there was, not how much money was made by orgs

Because he has a buyout, which T1 might not be willing to pay if they wanna go the inexpensive route. If he does end up on T1, though, then I'll be happy

Maybe some of them are gonna have to accept a low salary contract just to stay in tier 1, while others maybe will just go the route of making content? I don't see a lot of them accepting to go down to tier 2

yeah talent was there i agree but there will be harder each upcoming season if riot doesnt change the current system, even in thier so loved NA teams are deciding to leave and thats no good for vct as a whole
