If your gonna be a solo queueing I recommend going something more self sufficient or initiator wise something like kayo or gekko but if you do have a duo then you could try other combinations that don't have to be as self sufficient

Valorant ranked system is kinda shit tbh
If you play well, you play against people in higher ranks which means you will likely lose and not rank up as quickly.

I would say you should try to be consistent in your matches. That might start by never being bottom frag, providing value in most rounds (KAST%), communicate with mic or by map pings.

Take a silver's advice to improve in diamond xd
