which game is the easiest to go pro in and which one is the hardest in your opinion ? i love watching valorant the most and overwatch is so interesting but sometimes i have no clue whats happening
CS2 > OW2 > VAL (from hardest to easiest)
CS:GO/CS2 is a 12+ years old game and therefore already has a well-established professional scene. Breaking through would be near impossible under realistic circumstances. Same thing for OW/OW2; it's an 8+ years old game and in my honest opinion is a harder game to learn than VAL. I'd say VAL is the easiest of the three to go pro in simply because of its age, popularity and it being a tactical FPS. There are leaderboard grinders in the T1/T2 scenes so that's that. I've personally played with two players that are/were in T1/T2, players that were considered "nobodies" before Valorant's release and they've made it since. I know for a fact they'd make it again even if they started playing today

A walking W user came to VLR.
Disclaimer : Don't know about OW so I won't be giving any thoughts on that
VALORANT not from a skill POV but based on how the circuit operates.
CS is the easiest because there are so many tournaments ( in EU and SA ) for players to showcase themselves and actually climb up the rankings. VALORANT is a closed off circuit, while thanks to passionate fans VALORANT has these stars don't go unnoticed but compared to CS it's a lot harder ( with respect to the time it takes ) to come out of nowhere and climb into tier-1 circuit. Especially with 2025 where CS will have so many LANs, and a lot of teams will not be attending all of these, for any hard grinders out there CS might be a lot easier to break into compared to the current VALORANT circuit
CS2 is the most established esports out of the three, the talent pipeline is so diverse it's insane
are you a young PUGGer who just grinds the ladder for elo? Get scouted by an academy team like b1t, m0nesy, donk and many others.
are you playing in a team with friends? go from esea open to pro league by being a better team like spinx, flamez, w0nderful
are you a tier 2 player? grind tier 2 events and get your breakthrough like iM, jL, sdy, demqq and woro2k
valorant and overwatch cuck themselves with franchising. CS is open circuit, the stronger team wins
