TenZ is a arguably smarter player than Demon1 and he played Brim and Astra. He can but the team doesn't need him to do it. He has more impact on agents like Gekko.

even if he could play astra and brim... they're both contenders for the worst agent in the game rn

apart from abyss (and maybe pearl once it comes back) there are zero maps atm where astra is good where omen is not completely better in every way

apart from bind (and lotus if you ask certain people) there are zero maps where brim is considered even viable, let alone on the same level as omen

why would TenZ play more controller when all he needs to play is omen lol

Astra is already one of the harder agents plus it doesn't help that she's shit I don't think op has ever played her

It's not just about roles but more about how an agent can enable a player's play style. Idk about Astra but it's difficult to be aggressive on Brim so it fits Zellsis more.

He could play anything but it's not just simply about that. You want your best trade player to hold a molly lineup in post plant? TenZ doesn't play the support role like a bitch like most other players do. He goes in with Zekken so they need him on characters that have some sort of scaling abilities like flash, tps etc.

Astra is easy af. What's so hard about it? Getting the most value out of Astra is easier to do than do it with omen for example. You could just lurk and still use all of your util to the fullest potential whereas you have to have the perfect timing and team play to use the omen flash and TPs to it's fullest potential.

no. Tenz plays second entry/entryish characters for a reason. He has an aggresive playstyle thar doesnt match astra/brim that have to value their lives and play for them

yeah but he can take fights or make a play with his teammates off of the flash. That's being gun proactive. Why would he hold a molly when zellsis could do that but if your point is to just see whether he could do it then hell, yeah.

If cryo and demon1 can, TenZ can as well but I don't want zellsis on agents that need to take aggressive fights or scale with zekken/tenz. He is a player who takes fights in his own terms. When he has to skirmish, he struggles.

Why do people say Astra is hard? It's so fucking easy to put stars down and smoke, stun, pull.

tenz is not a controller/smokes player. he is simply a flex player that has the role of second entry fragger supporting zekken. omen is a perfect agent for that. you can make the most aggresive agent out of omens utilities if you have a playstyle like tenz, which is why he plays him a lot. he is playing omen in a completely different way than any other smokes player.
