How to fix the problem?

Ok, so it's basically been established that 'the kpopification of vct' is a bad thing. But how (as a community) do we fix it? How do we prevent these people from ruining the vct experience?

I've seen most of the arguments as to why they're bad for the scene and I honestly agree with a lot of them. But no one has seemed to offer any solutions, and to be fair there isn't really a straightforward answer, but honestly there is no point on complaining about it and not having an idea on how to stop it. So I ask, how do we deal with this?

Wait till next week and you'll realize that vlr is just "kpop fans " but on the other side of the spectrum.

I agree that people on VLR definitely have their own issues, that's just from my personal experience over typing here in the past few months. But I think VLR is super easy to ignore. But these people on twitter have far more outreach, they can literally destroy a career because someone they don't like doesn't fit their agenda.

That's only because Vlr is contained on this website. If vlr disappears and people here use twitter instead , trust me Monyet won't even make it to madrid 😂

They do this shit for interaction. That's all they do it for. Either they get the ''wow, thanks for being anti-racist'' message or ''why are you trying to cancel a person'' and then they can call themselves warriors for something great and not twitter nolifers. These people aren't led by some motives or some ideas or wanting to help someone, just the recognition of how tolerant they are

I think when it's just small nobodies here and there it's whatever. But when something becomes huge and careers are unjustifiably jeopardised it becomes a serious issue, and it's a horrible precedent to set for the overall scene

you dont want kpopification of vct, just like 90% other people, youre already doing your job, once rito learns that most people dont want this shit, they wont do that shit

sadly the setting is more acceptable for these people, if they were to try cancelling someone in CS Or Dota they would most likely get ''LMAO'' as an official reply

Honestly I don't really expect Riot to take a strong stance on this (I hope they do though, for the benefit of the players).

I don't think it's a bad thing unless they begin harassing the players like kpop fans, not sure why you guys are so triggered over twitter edits

The issue is they are harassing players, and even have done so in the past. Sure it's not physical yet but if we just normalise it like we have so far it's only a matter of time.

The existence of many users on vlr is already the kpopification of valorant. There's so much extreme hatred in the community
