I cant take what you say to face value cause your flair, cant help but feel like its a bias.
However I'm not talking just from the broadcast i saw visibly almost no hype anywhere for GoNext. Whether its something to do with the org or other reasons i cant think of off the top of my head is a different story, It doesn't change the fact to the grand majority they were not favorites and therefore weren't considered Favorites by that process.

Dysre was never a favourite. they are solid like saw but more than top 4 would be shocking from them.

there isnt any "spotlight" cuz nobody actually watches t2 that much. Youre gonna get the best takes from VlR on T2 unironically. And vlr was very high on eastern league all the way.

If you looked at the bookmaking stakes before the ascension started you would see that Apeks was favourites and GN was close second for getting out from the group.

As I said they were my favorites and still are. So when I made a thread about my thoughts on Barsa debut I also included MY favorite, and I’ve got my pickems to proof I’m not just yapping
And again, the reason why there was no hype with GN is because people don’t follow all tier 2 leagues and GN doesn’t have big names

Betting sites which are as unbiased as one can be had GN as 2nd favorite behind apeks before ascension started. Just because people who don't watch east slept on them doesn't mean they were not favorites (btw one of the casters yesterday said they did not have GN in their top 5 which shows all you need to know about their T2 knowledge).
