How important is monitor Hz?

How important is this? I use a 60hz HP monitor and I'm A2 (peak I2 150rr) and I've used a 120hz laptop but I didn't feel a difference. This was 2 years ago when I was bronze-ish. I don't understand why everyone says it's very important because I don't believe them. I think I can hit Radiant with a 60hz monitor.

Also wtf is mouse hz or polling rate?

120 is very important, past that is luxury with diminishing returns

60 hz is very bad to play on but still manageable ngl
I think it just makes the game way more enjoyable to play

Higher refresh rate is not mandatory to being good at the game, but it's nice to have. Me personally that have tried both noticed insane difference. I tried 240 on my friend's laptop and holding angles was much easier then being on a 60hz monitor.

it is not a complete life changer, just when you get to 144 or 240 hz you just cannot go back to 60

you can hit radiant with 60hz but 144hz just feels more enjoyable to use plus 144hz monitors arent as expensive as they used to be

mouse hz and polling rate are the same, as long as you have 1k hz it doesnt matter

High refresh rate monitors makes every game smoother and more responsive. The competitive element is there, but it honestly just makes gaming in general much more enjoyable. Especially for mouse & keyboard

actually if ur playing on 60 hz i believe in you. i play on 120 fps in immortal cause i have shit pc and i still feel like im held back by my setup
