language, for example. esports is just too far away rn, and also holding more IRL events is just not really viable in big countries like USA imo. Sen fans are all over the world, I really doubt they have a set popularity point. take navi for example, they are an org with fans all over the world, but most of them are in Ukraine, so it's logical for navi to pin themselves down in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, its most populated town. same for vitality and karmine corp in france. That's where I would change the subject a bit, some orgs have a bit more flavour simply to being one of a kind in its region. Navi is the only Ukrainian org out there, karmine corp and vitality usually start off with french rosters and then change depending on success. most NA orgs feel the same for me. like alter the players here and there and strip their jerseys away and they feel the same.
Yeah I think some orgs definitely are definitely favoured, which is why first mover advantage is a thing, for orgs like sen its no longer viable for them to just start concentrate back on local fanbase.
Might be tunnel vision but I think japanese orgs encourages a lot of participation which is what inspires this thread.
Actually does it even cost anything to hold an online event 😂, aside from getting streamers to participate as long as it's a fan event I think it's just a time issue (?). Might be wrong tho.
The more I think about my proposition actually works for T2 orgs tho, they really can increase people's participation in T2 and not just watch T1
