Was champs this year underwhelming?

Thinking back to 2022 with the optic vs loud, those matches were always stunning and had me hype. EG miracle run was amazing and fun to watch. This champs just didnt seem to hype me up. Maybe its just me idk

The GF was sick this time, but the rest of the tournament was a bit lackluster

The grand final make up for it imo, but yeah if it went 3 0 this champions is actually underwhelming

GF was the better than last year imo but I might be biased

The studio games were ass but this champs redeemed itself when they started playing in the arena

yh the hype just wasnt there, a lot of teams didnt perform and we certainly didn't see the best games of the year

Because it was two dark horses that were in GF. No one actually expected them to be there expect maybe TH, but even then people counted them out after Spilt 2.

GF was great. The whole event? not so

walkout was very bad music wise ngl, shanghai and madrid clear w the GF walkout

hype isn't there because old gods fell off
they have been replaced now by new ones

the final couple of games were really good, Id even say playoffs past the first round in general. Only got to see 3 1é2 maps of final but was fun, though I do think the watch party played a big role in that.

It's a time zone issue tbh. Unless you stayed up to actually watch the games it's just not the same
