They were in Champs 2022 and on. They just didn’t have the same leagues that other franchised regions had. After champs ends they will be at a total of 7 internationals. It’s been more than 2 years since they have been in the scene, I think next year all regions will be about the same level for the first time and any region could win any event.

this might sound schizo and retarded, but this edg roster will not leave anywhere, they are under contract in probably one of the richest orgs in china where their owner will probably give them houses if they win. NA and EMEA always have contract renewals, where players get swayed by new contracts with a salary rise.

I agree. I think EDG is 100% scripted to win. Watch their matches with PRX, SEN, and LEV in VCT Seoul. They always do shit and lose the first map, then suddenly they get good (or the other team started playing really bad) and then they won 2-1.

people are overreacting based on league of legends

regardless of me being an lck fan there is no competitiveness in that game region wise other than china vs korea

if valorant goes the same way, there's going to be no reason to root for it as an na fan for many, and the global status the game has is going to die

however china winning a trophy is good for the region so its mostly just overreaction for bait

Every winning team in OWL was always a korean stacked team. With the exception of 1 players out of 5/6 occasionally
