physical sports are different, that comparison is very flawed. And what you think doesn’t not really matter if you really think about it. As time progresses and meta changes, the teams which are at the top of current meta will always be better and more seasoned than previous ones. It might sound weird to you, but current G2 would SHIT on teams like prime Loud and prime optic. And current Sen would literally obliterate 2021 reykavik Sen.

obviously since newer teams have access to new agents that didnt exist in that time, but if you put the same players that were on EG 2023 and bring them to 2024 and allow them to figure out the meta I think they stomp.

Not really , shift in meta and change of style plus this year was the year of rookies so less familiar faces on top. Just a sense of unfamiliarity give that vibe.

I think this map rotation before Champs and then
v less time to prepare is the factor for inconsistency.
Next time I expect consistency in teams due to better schedule
