good teams from every region.
fans and haters are funny af
there is always hilarious content
the players are funny
valorant lacks a tier 2 scene and more events wouldn't be a problem imo. While every game is worth more, it can lead to some teams having 10 games in a year. CS scene is just more natural tbf, and in 2025 it will get even better.
In my Opinion, Riot could add one cross-region event between Americas and emea and another one between China and APAC with all the teams. Name it VCT Rivals or whatever, just add more rivalry. As a prize you can have the teams from the winning region get one slot over their rivals. ( region which loses gets 3 slots only, regions which wins gets 5)
KOMPOSTO [#9]bruh cs has 2 times more tier 1 events in one season of the year compared to valorant's whole year
tier 1 events = masters and champions, mickey mouse regionals are basically tier 1.5
KOMPOSTO [#11]tier 1 events = masters and champions, mickey mouse regionals are basically tier 1.5
regionals are more important despite being less hype. Same problem as with RMRs in CS, a meaningless event gets the invite to bigger events and so you have to sweat

it's gonna change next year

Because Cheater Strike fans are 2 times more jobless than Valorant fans. You have to realize that we are mostly normal people and don't have the time to watch 500 games per year. The break periods allows us to function us human beings and participate in the real world, talk to other people. You guys should try it sometimes.
aspassonjiezounb [#14]w esports,better than CockStunning
if that's cs, then cs is better because it has more events and the level of competiton is higher

next year's tournament of val is gonna be JAN-OCT
aspassonjiezounb [#15]it's gonna change next year
I know that it will change in CS, but I dunno if any changes are coming to valorant
Nef0r0 [#8]emea is disappointing, china is better than in other FPS, APAC shat the bed this year, so yeah, I would argue America is the best region. Problem is, salary is a bit inflated there
Problem is, we will not even see an americas team in finals... So are they really the best?

I speak for everyone when I say nobody wants more events. It already feels like we had tons of events with little break. There are some off-season events out there too.
People have lives, if you weren't aware about that.
aspassonjiezounb [#18]next year's tournament of val is gonna be JAN-OCT
will it give one more event slot in August? So One inFebruary , 2nd in June, 3rd in August, 4th in October? CS also switches its structure, majors are now ending the season, not in the middle of it, no more franchising so invites are given via how good teams are, not how much their Orgs pay, more TOs and more regional events as well

I have a life and I still have enough time to follow cs and valorant events
try watching only your favorite teams' match instead of catching up with every match, buddy

no one requires you to watch every single event, also I don't really know how having 3 S tier events in a year be a ton of events, but I am not that familiar with the valo scene, perhaps regional leagues are indeed tiring

You should compare the average CS fan (man) and Valorant fan (💀) before saying that

If you don't watch most of teams play then you are not up to date with the scene. And you play Cheater Strike, you definitely don't have a life, I guarantee you that a 100%
AutismCanBeCured [#20]Problem is, we will not even see an americas team in finals... So are they really the best?
I would put it as America has the most talent in volume, but due to salaries and buyouts it's spread out among all teams. Meanwhile in EMEA there are like 2-4 relevant orgs and they have all the best players, same goes for APAC and China, it's just a debate of number over quality
sentinelmain377 [#26]You should compare the average CS fan (man) and Valorant fan (💀) before saying that
The average CS fan is an out of shape russian femboy screaming slurs at the mic while the average Valorant fan is still in school. Anything else?

if anything most of valorant players are the out of shape ugly people 💀

in cs if you are a decent team you at least make it through rmr since theres 24 spots in the major
in valorant there was only 2 teams per region qualifying to the first masters event and teams play single elim for that 2 spots. its so fucked. even for champions its 4 teams per region and only 16 teams for the biggest event of the year.
and in cs you didnt make it to major? its fine because theres 10+ other events that you can qualify to and get to play in a big stage
in valorant half of the franchised teams havent made it to any international event this year ffs. even tier 2 cs teams play tier 1 events here and there
arin2016 [#29]The average CS fan is an out of shape russian femboy screaming slurs at the mic while the average Valorant fan is still in school. Anything else?
how can you talk about someone being jobless if the average fanbase of both games are still in school bro

You made 3 wrong assumptions about me good job VLR analyist
Gutwi [#30]if anything most of valorant players are the out of shape ugly people 💀
Nice try. We can clearly tell who is the out of shape one when clicking on the Twitch section for CS and Val. The disparity is so large I kinda feel bad. Maybe I understand why you guys stay inside most of the time.

You have zero clue how esports work for EVERY other game, apparently. Valorant esports are laughable because there’s 3 events a year. The more the better.

yeah, that's why I think they need more events, what if those irrelevant franchising teams just call it quits?

have you seen any CS crowds and stadiums and seen the people watching. they aint some fat bozos like in Valorant

No one cares about other games. If you want to talk about other games then you can go to their forums. The way Valorant works is that we show up each year for 3 events plus minus some minor events, and then we resume our daily lives. I can understand if you are not familiar with that concept, unfortunate but understandable.

The CN crowd from Valorant alone mogs every single CS crowd ever. That is an objective statement that is undeniable. If you don't agree then fair dues, maybe you have your odd preferences. But it's the truth.
