g2 are top 6 minimum at this event but got unlucky bracket and regional matchup
Trace are not top 8 , lev and vit dont know how to veto
lev's gameplay varies from top 3 itw to 12th

Not an upset imo atleast. I had Sen vs Edg as grand finals. Though not in this fashion it’s all the same.

its not lol. meta shifts and team changes all the time. Its hard to have consistency when that happens. You see consistency throughout the year though. Look at SEN, heretics, geng, lev. EDG made good roster changes half of the year and the roster changes is paying off now. They got better.

they got better for sure , but even at this event they had close matches in their group and made it out 2nd , and no one had edg winning this matchup

this post more about the fact that valorant is a very random game and wins and losses doesnt actually show who the best teams are

I knew it was extremely hard but with their similar map pool edg definitely has a chance. The problem is that most people perception of edg and china is very flat cause trace also bomb out. I watch all their games i knew they had a very good chance coming into this because their playstyle is a lot more calm and strategic. You can see how they cook those eco rounds and they don't overheat as much.
