i have an old computer running Windows 8 that hasn't been used in a very long time i can't remember the administrator password and I don't have the recovery drive, but I know another user's password. the administrator account contains important old memories like photos and videos that I want to recover. what should I do

Just take the hardrive out and plug it to another computer and extract whatever you want to take out.

If it's a PC then chances are you can take out the HDS/SSD. From there you can either plug the drive into another machine or take it to an expert to get your files restored
