Abyss in Champs

Why did they add Abyss into map pool? Like no-one knows what they're doing on the map, and the viewership experience is just so bad. You can see teams aren't as prepared for a new map, this whole Abyss thing looks like a ranked game. Some bo3s this year have just been boring when Abyss is chosen and played. Like I didn't have to sit through Sunset for Champs last year, so apart from Riot wanting to advertise the new map, it's legit a negative addition from the viewers and players standpoint.

I would like to counter by saying I like watching the map

its a cool map, once more teams get rep on it then it will be more competitive, teams are creating new comps and its harder to read another team that has 0 film on the map so it could make it harder too.

i would rather watch people falling off the map than to default for 1 min on ascent

It's fun to watch. But Champions should be the best teams who mastered the meta. RiotVal is troll and just adds/takes out and does whatever they want. Its all just for $ and stupid shit makes no sense. This is why Esports will never be a godamn REAL sport.

If you think your preparation on the map is better than everyone else then it's good to pick it specially because it's a new map and everyone is trying to decipher it

Of course we might have some horrific games because of that but for the teams it's great to have a new map with not many known strategies to use as an wildcard to get some wins
