Intraregional matchups

Why hasn’t riot come up with a system or made a rule where the first round of playoffs can’t have two teams from the same region playing each other, 3/4 of the first round games have teams from the same region playing each other and that’s just boring

feel like yall r just complaing to complain..... id rather see matchups from teams that were in the same region then teams that were in the same group bruh... like just relax

If there's no groups and no interregional matchups, doesn't that leave almost no other possibilities in the bracket?, also we are destined to have them at some point anyway, even if the first games are drawn perfectly

Yeah that might be better but the other rounds of playoffs for champs might not have many regional matchups

It's better this way, don't want to see teams from same region in 1st round knockouts

people overreact when it comes to this, it's no big deal, we've had PRX x EDG more than some matchups within the region, too much drama for nothing, yes it's matches that we've seem before, but a completely different scenario

with 3 na teams + 1st seeds vs 2nd seeds + no same group. intaregional match ups are garaunteed

If there werent any regional matchups the draw could be predicted so easily since we already have the "cant be from the same group rule" and "1st and 2nd seeds have to play eachother
