3 interregional matchups so that every region will win a game. They can't have one of their leagues taking the LCS route (undesirable due to the lack of talent, money, etc). It's a very delicate time in Valorant (and esports as a whole) and they need to make sure every region seems like a viable investment for rich people everywhere. Tin foil hat af but I think it's reasonable to at least acknowledge they have the motivation to set it up that way, not that they DID or WOULD fix the draw, just that they would have a damn good reason to do it.
