couldn't watch did vitality play bad or did trace play well?
both I'd say. Not the best showing from Vitality, but Trace also did good so
Basically Sayf proved everything he wanted to prove to Team Liquid and forgot how to be a good duelist
Jokes apart, hopefully they will bounce back
trace is very good on ascent but bind came down to vitality not playing very well. trace def isnt shit but vitality needs a better map pool to go deep in the tourney.
more so trace played good tbh. Like rewatching some of the rounds their macro was pretty insane and they have good strats around deadlock. I was pretty impressed.

the last round of Bind they literally hard anti-stratted Vitality’s Viper ult with the Deadlock gravnet
as you said genuinely impressed by Trace so far especially with how they combo their util using Deadlock
notnorte [#3]trace is lowkey insane
just rewatched, china is actually getting better. fpx and trace look crazy
they almost thew ascent despite having much better macro than vit
sunset was eh good ideas still
and bind they just outplayed
Never watched trace before but they have good fundamentals, like not overheating (cough cough billy) set protocols, those bind strats with deadlock net and wall was crazy good
So I wouldnt be surprised if trace make it out of groups
Both teams were very good on Ascent but Trace looked better. Sunset seems to be Vit's best map and they definitely outclassed TE on it. Bind was interesting because Trace's strats with their unique comp were actually great. One of the better Deadlock teams I've seen.
Kicks is shit btw.
