Chinese “k”s

Why do the commentators say “k”night or bian”k” instead of the saying the gamertag as one word?
It’s a minor pet peeve of mine.

the players/org tell the casters how the name is supposed to be pronounced I'm pretty sure

idk lol maybe the players ask for their names to be pronounced like that. I know knight did.

They don't call him Bian-k in China. They call him Xiao Bian, but idk what the case is for K-night I think he just wants it to be like that

because they’re told to pronounce it that way, knight wants it pronounced like that so

some want their name to be pronounced like that, some are just trolling lol
