Nah.. NRG was bad this year but not THAT bad.

Don't think so, I feel like NRG got worse overtime. They started decently beating FURIA, C9 and having a close series against SEN who proceeded to win Masters.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think they were ever amazing since they only beat weak teams, but they at least had some sort of team play. At the end of stage 2 it was so bad they couldn't even beat C9 anymore

depends on if u think kickoff/split 1 nrg is worse than split 2 nrg. If yes, then yes, FNS and s0m both said they think they would lose (this was after only seeing their bind though)

not really an accurate metric when split 2 nrg had to go against way better teams that were also more developed while split 1 nrg had to go against south american teams including a weak loud

split 2 NRG attack sides were SO much better than split 1s. Shows the importance of a good IGL..

yep, also worth mentioning that in split 1: LOUD were trapped in Ireland, and LEV were starting their questionable period. In Split 2 their attack looked miles better, the only 'mid' team they lost to was with the 12-5 C9 choke
