they lost to zeta, which is not even a great team, and the only ones they did manage to win (stage 2) were detonatin, rrq and TS which are also not top tier, so i think youre tripping
for me, they could be between B and A, but still not A, primmie made peoples head believe that they are good, but theyre not all of that

yeah they made champs and it really wasnt expected but I feel like thats quite a lot due to other teams failing to close out the season, for example TS went from looking incredible to falling off abyss 3 times in the same game
also dont see them winning a game in their group
but yeah i dont hate the idea of moving them up, they have dont great this year even if i do feel bad for surf
