G2 are some of best in the world but can never win because they always make the best plays. Sideshow just mentioned it and I never really thought about it, but what separates these teams and the winning teams are those super high risk high reward rounds. Since g2 is too fundamentally discipline they don't take any extremely risky peeks or ever put themselves in a bad spot that could be a massive game changer. They're like 2 sides of the same coin with prx.

Perfect valorant is impossible, core functions of the game is random, you need a combination of both

yeah i think they’re a lot like old drx when you compare prx to them. a team like geng is the perfect example of what a team should be, disciplined team but willing to take risky peeks to gain advantages

old drx was way too discipline

G2 is probably closest the game has ever seen to "perfect Valorant", outside of maybe EG last year.

They look very shaky today, but they normally do play very funadmentally sound, and just feel like if a AI was wrote for Valorant
