I hate how there's a subset of people that downplay the achievements of duelists only because they think their individual impact is overrated.

I understand that it's hard for support players to garner the same levels of fame, and there are certainly a large majority of people that only think players like Aspas, T3xture, etc. are the goats because cool flashy plays, aura, etc., more than anything

And I agree that they should get more recognition, especially players like Leo (more than chronicle imo), who are able to set up info for their team to play off of while garnering impactful kills when their team needs them to, even if their playstyle isn't as flashy.

But i'm annoyed by this trend of downplaying any duelist that's performing amazingly just because "they're being set up by their team", when their team needs them just as much as they need them.

Duelists in Valorant are sometimes underrated because their high-risk, high-reward playstyle can be overlooked if they don’t consistently perform or if their contributions are not fully aligned with team strategy. Since duelists are expected to secure high kill counts and create space, their impact might seem less significant if they’re having an off game or if their team composition doesn’t play to their strengths. Additionally, their value can be diminished if the game’s flow doesn’t allow their aggressive plays to shine or if their efforts to create opportunities aren’t immediately visible in the scoreboard. Despite these challenges, duelists are crucial for leading engagements and forcing opponents into unfavorable situations, and their true impact is often felt when their role is executed well within a supportive team environment.

he also has the lowest sample, because hes a baiter, and the lowest FDPR, because hes a baiter

I hate to break it to you, but having a high FDPR is not a good thing

It means aspas doesnt take first duels at all, which is true, he doesnt. The low sample of FKPR also proves hes a baiter
