I hope it is not just me but watching this esport is getting dry, And I want to enjoy it again. it's mainly just your focus getting deviated to different things going on thats overshadowing the main idea of the game and its getting overwhelming. How do you guys try to watch it? I know I probably sound dumb. I just want at least some input.

its cuz your watching AMERICAS. the average AMERICAS game is too boring and overhyped. Im being genuinely honest.

Watching the main stream helps a LOT with that. With watch parties, the streamer tends to go on side tangents and pinpoint specific things and set certain expectations—which is fun, but it adds a lot more to think about. If you're purely trying to enjoy the esports in and of itself, watch the main stream. There, you only need to worry about the action and the casting that goes along with it.

I believe the very opposite

The main stream is boring and only has commentators attempting to make exaggerated reactions to the most minor things.

It's goated streamers like tarik who know how to have a good atmosphere, instead of taking everything so seriously

tarik is the absolute best. There's a reason he's the most popular

People looove to hate what is mainstream, but hey - mainstream things, popular things.. they're popular for a reason.

I would say its bc theres so many matches in a small amount of time that it just gets overwhelming and stale + there were basically no map changes this year
For me after Madrid there wasnt really excitement most of the times to see who would improve and Shanghai was dissapointing compared to other INT events

idk why hes popular, maybe because of all the AIs who spam kekw in his chat like robots, he is not that entertaining, especially during watch parties

I have a theory that at least 20% of Tarik viewers and chat aren’t real people. They all spam the exact same stuff for a 12 hour stream I don’t believe they’re real people no way

s0m has a similarly ass chat, but atleast 50% of people are actually normal and not spamming twitch emotes for 8 hours non stop

That's true. Sliggy is basically a secondary commentator, though. Same with Sideshow, except he literally is a commentator.

stop trying to analyze anything and everything, just enjoy the plays for what they are
