does seed matter?

i thought champions has a group stage first, with random teams being put in random groups. y does seeding matter?

You don’t want to face Gen.G so getting seed 1 is good

if u get 1st seed u get the “bad teams” which are 234 if ur 3rd seed u get the harder 1 and 2 seeds

If you seed 1 in EMEA you probably facing some chinease seed4 team and that makes easier to go in next stage.

it matters but its also just luck since there WILL be a group of death and that group will have a 1st seed

The groups will be randomly drawn with each being composed of a #1, #2, #3 and #4 from each of the different regions. It's not totally random. You can avoid the theoretical best teams from other regions if you get a better seed or win your region.

you really dont want g2/lev, gen.g or fnc/vit rn imo

at the end of the day seeding won’t matter if you lock in and give your best against every team you play

upsets happen all the time and it will happen in this event too, so every team should focus on themselves and prepare to make a run
