Do T2 teams make money?

I'm kind of blown away by how many T2 teams there are, and probably way more T3. There's no way there's any money in T2 playoffs, so are they all just gambling their careers on making it through ascension?

Usually the best players in t2 get paid around 4 - 8k And they got funding

yes its mostly 24 year old men gambling their career on video games instead of getting a job. not trying to be mean for t2/t3 should generally be for up and coming players who are young / in school / on the up swing. not washed talent or players who have never reached t1 after playing for years. of course there are also people like nismo who have a job and can do whatever they want

playing well in t2 means getting contracts by t1 teams

t2 players? yeah they probably get paid by their orgs

t2 orgs? i don't think so, ludwig has mentioned how teams like his own (mxs) aren't profitable and it's basically a net loss trying to run them. the only orgs that can even manage to break even outside of t1 are those that are creator/sponsor funded
