I just want to point out that G2 don’t get enough props for their year so far. Even if they bomb out of champs (which I don’t they do) I would say that it shows a lot about NA Tier 2. The Guard core only made two changes coming into franchise and arguably Icy and leaf aren’t like 1 to 1 upgrades, but that just shows even more how good of a coach JoshRT is because he managed to scout 2 perfect pieces for their team.

wasn't convinced during split 1 bc i thought the icy pick up was troll but these guys have been playing some good fucking valorant since shanghai. no one is exactly a star player but they fit super well into their system and it's super satisfying watching them play
if icy can keep up the same performance he had against sen they have a very real chance of winning champs
None are “star” players but they don’t have weak links.

Icy is building experience and will likely peak at Champs.
They all juggle the fragging burden and no single player feels the need to overheat to compensate. This results in the tightest teamplay we’ve seen this year and I wouldn’t be surprised if they win Champs in the same way EG did.
