He was dominant in 2021 but I think by 2022 he was just average?

in Berlin he was farming F4Q and had a stinker against G2 I think

and they were instantly knocked out after losing to Envy, he was pretty mid in this series

Better to compare rating against the other players in the tournament that against other tournaments
For ah example, yay putting up the same rating in champs 2022 was far more impressive than tenz, but not necessarily more impressive than nats putting up like a 1.30 rating in Berlin

1st match - G2 - 1.30, great performance
2nd match - F4Q - 1.86, farmed them, insane
3rd match - G2 - 0.76, 1/8 FK/FD, got destroyed
4th match - F4Q, 1.33, awesome performance
5th match - playoffs vs Envy, 0.93, below average, instantly knocked out

the numbers are great, but they're clearly inflated because he farmed F4Q.

context matters, don't compare this to Demon1 at Champs.

Kinda yeah, he really lacked confidence, had a shit team, and didn’t really adapt well to the chamber meta or post nerf jett

He had to drop +30 to win a game in 2022 or else his team couldn't win shit, it wasn't sustainable. They didn't adapt to the Chamber meta until LCQ, it was too late. 2023 was just a wash team wise. He had a couple rough games but overall he was still solid. 2024 he's getting to actually work with a competent coaching staff and can develop as a player, so imo he's on a upwards trajectory and has still yet to reach a new peak.
