How will valorant be taken serious as an esport

When there’s only champs for the rest of the year meanwhile cs has 7 tier 1 events including a 2nd major for the year.

Valorant will never be on that level thanks to riot games and their need for control

Also don’t forget cs is open circuit from next year so the best teams will always be in tournaments. Meanwhile we have teams like mibr, koi and ge in franchising ruining the gameplay

Four majors for the year would be fun.
Master 1, Lock in, Master 2, Champs.

CS is obviously more established as a discipline because CS Esports existed since 2000

I think it's unfair to compare valorant with Cs who has almost 15-20 years to establish a esports scene. I think better comparison would be r6 or other newer esports which val has similar events. I can promise if he had 7+ T1 vlr would be filled with people saying there's too much valorant lol

Feb + mar = Qualify
April = 1st event
May + Jun = Qualify
Jul = 2nd Event
Aug + Sep = Qualify
October = 3rd Event
November + Early December = Lcq + Champions

Points from 1st qualify shouldnt count towards second or third event, they would be independent. LCQ should have ascencion teams playing against franchise teams that didnt make it, Champions should have 24 slots with 2 swiss. Get rid of loser brackets.

Also, CS has more games etc because they take betting companies money, they survive on that

Valorant is on a downfall. There's no hope.

Problem is that all the most major events are Riot funded and sponsored, there is no major Esports organization that does tournaments for Valorant, although RB is trying and others. We need some equivalents to like PGL and BLAST

There’s only 1 solution to get a better esport: third party tournament and an abolishment of franchising.

It really is that simple. People keep saying valorant will get to the same level as cs cause cs has been around for 20 years, but the reason cs is where it is is cause of 3rd party ecosystem, which coincidentally also majorly includes mapmaking, as well as a lack of franchising
