I think this will be their closest series, 2-1 either way. Trace look great without FengF needing to go crazy and that's a scary thing. Biank and Luok1ng have had some superb maps and I think the pressure being off of them now that they've qualified could get them the win here.

somehow turned into a massacre, ngl I was kinda nervous for edg beforehand, I hope they can keep up their form

Honestly expected Trace to look way better here but EDG just outcalled and outgunned them. It's common for teams in China to look good for most of the season then just fall apart when they face EDG. I'm definitely not sold on EDG quite yet. They won kickoff, they won stage 1, and look what happened.

The difference this time is new coaching, nobody on igl and simon as initiator, so let's hope for better results in Seoul.

I think EDG gets the win here. Historically speaking EDG has a horrible record when it comes to upper finals but I think this time they might just be able to do it. Unlike FPX, EDG, albeit not at their highest, has a very good chance at beating Trace. I don’t think we should rush to glaze Trace after their dominate performance against FPX because FPX was purely bad.

It’s because I actually put some faith in Trace this time around and gave them a map. But would you look at that they got smoked.

I’ve thought time and time again about just stating who wins because that will take my accuracy rate to maybe 80% or so.
But to be for real, the thrill of getting a series 100% correct score and all is awesome

Did you get one 100% correct in the past?
im still chasing my first

I’ve never had 100% accuracy but I think 70-80 is good enough.
If you mean pickems then no I’ve never gotten a 100%. My match predictions are different from my pickems, which are based more on my personal feelings rather than current form, which is required when making match predictions

What’s your story? Germany + Lev

Is it because of Tex?

Well I started watching Valorant by the end of the 2022 season and when I looked at the bracket from Copenhagen I thought that Levs logo just looked the coolest and I started watching haha. And after Melser got those insane clutches against XSET I was kind of a fan.

Ppl seem to have bad memory or something. They already won multiple times internationally just haven't done well this year. Of all the chinese teams so far they been the most consistent.

i meant this year obviously.....dont tell me u count that win vs prx at madrid lul .... they should have been favourites coming into tournaments this year, especially considering that they had the same core from champs 2023

I think TE can beat EDG here, but it highly depends on the map picks, TE's bind has always been one of the best regionally while EDG's has been looking weak recently, especially because of the comp they picked yesterday. Meanwhile EDG looks very comfortable on Lotus, Nobody did an incredible job calling on that map and kk neon just works. It's extremely likely that either way it will be a 2-1, though I can't say every map will be close, I think it will be back and forth. Sunset will likely be picked and that should be a banger close match, even OT possibly.

Gonna believe in TE for one last time, if they choke again I'm losing all hope. TE 2-1
