I feel like this champions the level of play might be lower than last years. Last year even the weaker teams looked like they could beat the top ones. DRX were in form beating LOUD, NAVI almost beat LOUD, FNC did decent, EDG almost beating LOUD, EG and PRX playing so well. Also BLG shitting on NRG twice 4-0, KRU making their LCQ run. Champs 2023 was peak, this year only GENG, SEN, TH (maybe fpx) are playing great valorant.

i think it'll be the highest skill tournament yet, it's these teams getting scrappy that truly creates great on the fly strats and plays imo

just raw skill I'd think it's a 10% better overall but there's less and less teams focused on strat and execution heavy antics so maybe it seems like the level of play is lower? TH and SEN looking great too, even GenG.

the thing is I don't see any teams beating the big 3 I mentioned other than FPX or maybe PRX if they are in form. I think the playoffs might be full of stomps. I do hope we see some upsets and interesting comps/match ups

Very true. I think some people might say it has to do with the meta, but to me it just seems like a very high percentage of the rosters that were supposed to be good this year just did not click, and what we're left with is only a handful of good teams, so there's less competition pushing everyone to be better like there was last year

Teams are constantly improving, the level of play is def better this year even if it’s not as competitive

The meta this year is so much better than last year. Can’t wait to see insane, out of the ordinary comps. Plus it’s in Korea so I’m gonna try so hard to get tickets for finals before it gets sold out in 1.7secs
