The scores from split 1 are carried over so for example a team that was 4-1 in split 1 goes 1-4 this split they would be at 5-5 and still have a chance for split 2 playoffs, whereas a team that was 2-3 last split but goes 5-0 could make it.

yes, just imagine that stage 1 + stage 2 is like a full round robin split and that shanghai playoffs was a mid season tournament. that is the format
Its so simple. Every team play 10 game against every team in league and Top6 in the league are qualify to playoff
Sentinels start 3-3, in last place of group and play 4 matchs, against nrg, kru, g2 and c9. If they do top3 with atleast 5 win (probably) they go to playoffs
