Disagree, it should be very fun. Sure your mates might throw some rounds but there is a lot of outplay potential for yourself + 4 attackable areas

Counter-strike was the best game ever made. Valorant is like the 2020 CS, it's more lively, more fun, the matches are more unique, and it's in constant change, the devs actually care about the game, and Riot updates it very often. There's no way CS today is the better game. I'm grateful for CS to have existed, but it's not better than Val in 2021.

csgo and valorant is not a 1:1 ratio

I can understand for EU but for NA Vlr vs csgo is an easy decision

In one game you have an active playerbase and good pro scene, and in another you dont

Not at all, you are looking at it the opposite way, of course it wouldn't be this successful if it wasn't made by riot, the game is good exactly because it was made by riot, if it wasn't made by riot, probably the game wouldn't be good at all, thus people wouldn't be playing it.
