lebron james
Psion [#8]i looked and how the fuck do you tell what the score is why is it in fractions
The "numerator" is the number of runs and the "denominator" is the number of wickets (like outs in baseball). However since they both scored the same out of runs, they play a super over which USA won. Idk how a super over works tho since it has been some time since I watched cricket.

so why did pakistan have 7 outs and US only had 3
Psion [#11]so why did pakistan have 7 outs and US only had 3
You can get out in 4 ways. Somebody catches the ball while it is in the air like in baseball, you fail to hit the ball and the ball hits the wicket (which are sticks behind the batsman), the ball hits you but it is in the path of hitting the wickets (this is now determined by technology), and when you are attempting to make a run, the wickets get hit before you make it to the other side. Pakistan just had more wickets than the US.

There are 10 wickets or outs in cricket you play until the overs are over or 10/11 batsmen are out to switch sides but unlike baseball cricket only have 2 innings the first team to bat scores runs like baseball and after the inning is over the fielding has to chase the target runs to win

this is like if Great Britian won the Basketball Olympic gold medal because 5 NBA prospects were born in GB instead of America
KyLZi [#16]there are many Asian Americans.
It's more about the origin and representation of players rather than just nationality
cloudberry [#3]See, that's the thing. Almost everyone on the American team is South Asian
im ethnically south asian but im as american as they come how does it make them any less american?
Kamrann [#20]im ethnically south asian but im as american as they come how does it make them any less american?
Non-Americans simply cant grasp the concept that anyone can be an American regardless of color or ethnic background
ATBSniper [#19]It's more about the origin and representation of players rather than just nationality
The players and their families all came to USA for a reason, they’re welcome here, and most will claim their American identity. USA on top.
xNolva [#24]USA cricket team is half Pakistani, they beat themselves. Non Asian USA cricket sucks
Nope they're all Americans and by that logic you would be european
Katharize [#27]How the fuck that amir guy manage to throw 7 wide balls in a super over 😂😂💀
Ikr🤣🤣
Bro got sold
ATBSniper [#19]It's more about the origin and representation of players rather than just nationality
Tbf everyone in US is technically an immigrant
flanador [#21]Non-Americans simply cant grasp the concept that anyone can be an American regardless of color or ethnic background
might be true in everything else, but here 2 players played the under-19 World Cup for India and one more player in domestic cricket in India. Technically they are US immigrants, not US citizens.
voovoovoo [#30]might be true in everything else, but here 2 players played the under-19 World Cup for India and one more player in domestic cricket in India. Technically they are US immigrants, not US citizens.
immigrants are welcome in the US, and we accept them as Americans!
not5kin [#34]Is this bigger than Bilibili beating NRG? Asking for scale
this is like a silver premier team beating prime sentinals with walls
DownLoad_AimLabs [#36]this is like a silver premier team beating prime sentinals with walls

kfan4238173 [#40]is cloudberry not canadian and from almost the same country in that regard
If he holds citizenship to the US, he is in fact an American more-so specifically Canadian-American
FireII [#35]immigrants are welcome in the US, and we accept them as Americans!
werent you the one with an indian flag and a complexity flair
sm0ke3 [#42]werent you the one with an indian flag and a complexity flair

FireII [#43]yeah, my mother immigrated from india to the USA — so I rocked that flag for a while, since I am half Indian
oh ok
Ausam [#29]Tbf everyone in US is technically an immigrant
You're not serious 💀 Most of them don't even have a generation over there yet. Look at immediate roots and connections of players.
