The "numerator" is the number of runs and the "denominator" is the number of wickets (like outs in baseball). However since they both scored the same out of runs, they play a super over which USA won. Idk how a super over works tho since it has been some time since I watched cricket.

You can get out in 4 ways. Somebody catches the ball while it is in the air like in baseball, you fail to hit the ball and the ball hits the wicket (which are sticks behind the batsman), the ball hits you but it is in the path of hitting the wickets (this is now determined by technology), and when you are attempting to make a run, the wickets get hit before you make it to the other side. Pakistan just had more wickets than the US.

There are 10 wickets or outs in cricket you play until the overs are over or 10/11 batsmen are out to switch sides but unlike baseball cricket only have 2 innings the first team to bat scores runs like baseball and after the inning is over the fielding has to chase the target runs to win

It's more about the origin and representation of players rather than just nationality

The players and their families all came to USA for a reason, they’re welcome here, and most will claim their American identity. USA on top.

might be true in everything else, but here 2 players played the under-19 World Cup for India and one more player in domestic cricket in India. Technically they are US immigrants, not US citizens.

You're not serious 💀 Most of them don't even have a generation over there yet. Look at immediate roots and connections of players.
