That being said I don't buy the Reus narrative, I don't think he's done nearly enough to say he "deserves" a champions league. Toni Kroos retiring with a final ucl win is just as epic for example

Reus deserves the CL for being one of the best players in the world in the mid 10s. Sure he js washed now but thats like Messi winning the WC

He was an amazing player, but I could name tens of players just as good or better who have never been able to win a Champions league. The only reason you can actually argue is that he was loyal to his club
