BananaBezos [#11]Don’t repeat valve mistake, the weakest region should get more slots so that teams get more experience and reduce the gap between China and other regions, look for example at cs now, all of Asia is in decline, essentially a game of one region

yeah it would be held in the same venue. basically it would be like if champs had 18 teams but there was an extra stage before groups. in league last year the na and eu 4th seeds played a bo5 on lan to decide who would "qualify", so I'm thinking something similar.

Definitely agree, slot should be one size of the market you aim to convert, not size of actual market you already have gatekeeping new market to enter. (And thats also why every T1 league should be roughly the same amount of market size)

We not even giving "more" spot, we give "same amount of spot" to every region even if some are better than other. If some region are better than other they don't need the advantage and the help of having more spots
International event should be only for best team of each region, if you are #5 you are not one of the best team of your region.
