So basically none of this is his fault
StyrofoamOne [#6]'hate' translated into chinese is a much stronger word than 'hate' in english, zekken probably meant that he didnt have faith while people in china read the translation and thought that he despised chinese teams
He said he was a "China hater", which probably meant much much more to the Chinese fans than "Chinese team hater" lol.
TheAceGamer30 [#8]So basically none of this is his fault
saying i’m a “china hater” isnt a necessary comment under any means. but yes, not really his fault

As a highly salaried pro player you have to maintain some professionalism. So when you say that you hate an entire region, of which you are an extremely popular player there, you are gonna expect to get hate from them, especially since he didn’t clarify he was joking. The same way you’d expect NA fans to hate on KangKang if he said he was an NA hater

well. if u think about it he literally couldve said anything like EDG hater, EDG doubter chinese doubter but he went with one that comes off a bit harshly so
lovekylin [#22]I don`t know how to explain it ,but zekken look like not realize china is not only a region like emea, and "hate" in chinese more like “hatred”.i just don`t know how to explain it,"china hater" really sound like "f u country and people"
Unfortunate! that is for sure not what he was intending to convey
