StyrofoamOne [#6]'hate' translated into chinese is a much stronger word than 'hate' in english, zekken probably meant that he didnt have faith while people in china read the translation and thought that he despised chinese teams

As a highly salaried pro player you have to maintain some professionalism. So when you say that you hate an entire region, of which you are an extremely popular player there, you are gonna expect to get hate from them, especially since he didn’t clarify he was joking. The same way you’d expect NA fans to hate on KangKang if he said he was an NA hater
