at shanghai lol
Psion [#3]i mean this is partly due to ascent only being played once and teams not having time to innovate
2nd point is correct
however, ascent only being played once doesnt affect the stat
Viper was played in 23/32 comps played (16 maps played at the event)
= 71.875% = 72%
tbh theres not much that can be done. firstly, there was no time for teams to cook up new comps to combat the nerf. also, viper is kinda irreplaceable. even through the next split i dont think viper will drop in terms of pick rates by more than 15-20%, since harbour isnt exactly a great substitute, unless they buff him

it does though, if ascent and lotus are switched in pick rate(lets say FPX play ascent twice so its 2/10 maps on viper on ascent)
Viper is played in
2/10
7/8
0/6
4/4
2/2
2/2
thats 17/32 times(53%), which means viper wouldn't be the most played agent, which is the stat you are referencing in the title

yeah but bind would perhaps cancel out that deficit
UsmanSy3d [#11]yeah but bind would perhaps cancel out that deficit
switching it with icebox or lotus(2 most played maps) really doesn't change anything

i misinterpreted what u meant the first time.
makes sense. les see what happens when the pickrate of the maps balances out
